건물의 에너지 사용 관리는 기후 변화에 대응하는 데 매우 중요합니다. 7주 동안 무료로 진행되는 이 교육에서 40명의 참가자는 인프라 구축과 건물 효율 측정 및 에너지 사용 관리 시 기술을 활용하는 방법에 대해 집중적으로 학습합니다.

이 과정은 이전 경력에 관계없이 강력하고 지속 가능한 경력을 쌓을 수 있도록 준비시켜 줍니다. 참가자는 건물 성능 연구소(BPI)에서 관리하는 건물 과학, 시스템 및 에너지 효율의 기초를 배우게 됩니다.

Opportunities for career pathways that can be obtained from this Fellowship include Building Operators, Building Analysts and Energy Auditors. All jobs have strong wages, benefits and opportunities for advancement.

In addition to technical skills, participants all receive a stipend and a laptop for use during training along with free professional development (i.e interview prep) and job placement services (i.e. access to a job directory) to assist them in their transition into the green economy. LACI offers various resources to support program participants, such as financial assistance and reimbursement for travel costs to attend the Fellowship.
