Bay Area Community Colleges & AMBayArea have developed an affinity group (WiMST) for women who are in (or studying to be in) the manufacturing skilled trades - careers such as machinists, welders, CAD, technicians (engineering, electronic, quality, maintenance, mechatronics, ...), etc.

As part of this, we are working to develop a mentorship program for women in the mfg trades.
