원예 인턴십 프로그램은 원예, 공공 정원 관리, 조경 유지관리 또는 조경 건축에 대해 더 많이 배우고 싶은 학생들을 위해 마련되었습니다. 원예 인턴은 공식 정원, 온실, 식물 컬렉션 및 과수원에서 프로젝트 과제를 수행하며 직원 원예사의 직접적인 감독 하에 근무합니다. 인턴은 교육 세션과 업무 과제를 통해 정식 정원 가꾸기, 온실 번식, 식량 생산을 위한 원예 기술을 배우게 됩니다.

The goal for Horticulture Interns is to leave the program with new skills and an introduction to the various aspects of the field of horticulture. Upon completing the program, interns will have gained experience in:  planting and soil preparation; pruning and hedging using landscape design specifications;  pest control and weed management; fertilization; annual bedding maintenance; fruit harvesting, cut flower and edible production, water management; turf care; plant collections management and GIS mapping systems; greenhouse practices, workplace and equipment safety; plant identification; and creating excellent visitor experiences by communication with the public about plants and horticultural displays.
